SGI Tezro is a high-end computer workstation that was introduced by Silicon Graphics (SGI) in 2003. It is designed for use in 3D computer graphics, visual effects, and animation. The Tezro is powered by up to four 700 MHz MIPS R16000 processors, making it one of the most powerful workstations of its time. It also features up to 32 GB of RAM, up to two NVIDIA graphics cards, and up to six hard drives or solid-state drives for storage. The Tezro runs on the IRIX operating system, which is a UNIX-based OS that is optimized for 3D graphics work. It also supports various software applications such as Maya, Houdini, and Softimage. The Tezro was discontinued in 2006, and its successor is the SGI Octane III.
